FAQ
What is the goal of the "Remembering Upstate New York" project?
Our goal is to restore and celebrate the rich history of Upstate New York, highlighting the influential people, events, and cultural movements that have shaped the region and the nation. We aim to bring awareness to this often-overlooked part of American history through research, storytelling, and educational initiatives.
How can I get involved with the project?
There are several ways to get involved! You can sign up for our newsletter to stay updated on our progress, participate in our events, or make a donation to support our research and initiatives. Every contribution helps us preserve and share the remarkable history of Upstate New York.
What can I expect from the project's future stages?
In the first stage (2025-2026), we will focus on in-depth research and writing, publishing essays, and sharing the stories of Upstate New York’s past. In Stage Two (2026-2027), we plan to bring these stories to life on stage and screen, collaborating with local theaters and institutions. Our long-term goal is to create a cultural movement that revitalizes the history and spirit of Upstate New York.
